Online Trauma Therapy in Charlotte & Across NC, GA, FL & SC

Renew hope. Reclaim stability. Rebuild trust.

Even getting through the day right now feels like a chore.

You might find yourself interrupted by flashbacks or reminders that make it feel like you’re reliving the past. It’s like you’re always on edge and your nerves are constantly frazzled, leaving you overwhelmed and exhausted by the end of the day. It can be difficult to relax or unwind when you’re always anticipating the next trigger.

Your relationships are feeling it too. Maybe this leads to interactions you aren’t proud of, like snapping at your kids or taking out your frustrations on your partner. This constant state of tension can leave you feeling drained and overwhelmed.

You may find it hard to open up and talk about what you're going through, fearing that no one will understand or know how to help. Maybe you’ve reached out for help before, but didn’t feel heard or seen in your struggles. It’s like no matter what you do the storm isn’t passing. You’re just ready for the sun to shine again…or even to find just a glimmer of hope.

You might be experiencing…

  • Intense feelings of self-blame & shame

  • Feeling fearful, overly stressed, or unsafe

  • Overwhelming guilt

  • Emotional numbness or difficulty feeling anything

  • Disconnected relationships, including with yourself

  • Loss of joy & struggling to find motivation

  • Physical discomfort, like head and body aches

  • Irritability at yourself & others

Your experiences have shaped you, but they don't have to dictate your future.

There really is a light at the end of the tunnel. You're not alone in this journey—I've got your back every step of the way.

I believe in meeting you wherever you are on this path toward healing. This starts by building a relationship of trust and safety, followed by tangible tools to help you work through some of the emotions and physical symptoms you may be experiencing. As we establish a sense of calm— allowing you to feel safe and secure—we’ll be able to ease our way into the deeper work.

Every step of this process will be at your pace. You don’t ever have to feel rushed or “behind,” because trauma therapy is tailored specifically to you and what you need. Often, I’ll gently challenge you towards processing your past and help you exercise things you’re learning so that you can take care of yourself and ultimately release the weight on your shoulders.

It’s best to view this work like getting into a swimming pool for the first time; we don’t want to jump into the deep end too fast. When we start in the shallow end learning the necessary skills and the tools to swim, we can ease our way toward the deep end with confidence, hope and peace.

Methods I use —

  • TF-CBT helps individuals process traumatic experiences by combining cognitive and behavioral techniques in a supportive environment, allowing them to address distressing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors related to trauma.

  • DBT teaches individuals skills to manage intense emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and tolerate distress more effectively through a combination of cognitive-behavioral techniques and mindfulness practices.

  • Narrative therapy is a collaboration between individuals and their therapists that explores the stories and experiences individuals tell themselves. By externalizing problems and reshaping narratives, it offers insight into personal strengths and values, ultimately empowering individuals to create more preferred and fulfilling life stories.
